A US woman was stunned when she spotted Jesus - on her iron.

Mary Jo Coady, 44, of Methuen, Massachusetts, spotted the image while doing a load of ironing.  She says the stunning resemblance to Jesus Christ has reassured her that "life is going to be good".

The 44-year-old Catholic said the image looks just like Jesus and proves "he's listening".  She said she won't be using the iron any more and plans to purchase a new one.

According to the Boston Globe, she shared the photo on Facebook, and was reassured by friends that they, too, saw Jesus on the iron.  "So I said, 'OK, I'm not crazy'," Mrs Coady said.

Personally I feel that means she's not alone in being crazy...


Admittedly it was better than the usual smudgy blob...
