She confirmed the date fans will be able to get their hands on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on her website.
Rowling has said two characters die in the final book and fans are wondering whether Harry is one of them.
So the slaughter continues. The Harry Potter series appears to be racking up corpses faster than Reservoir Dogs.
Despite that there's a lot to be said for anything that can get the Playstation Generation reading something other than the instructions for Grand Theft Auto.
Also publishing this year means that they might be able to finish the series of films without the cast looking like they've just come off the set of 'Last Of The Summer Wine'.

True, but if she does that, and realises that she is indeed a seriously awful writer, then she'll have nothing to fall back on, apart from her hundreds of millions.

I've heard JK is going to kill off Harry so that nobody else can do 'middle aged' Harry stories later on.
