This Is Why I Gave Up The Job Of Santa In The Co-Op Grotto

A German policeman claimed an extra week's holiday just for getting dressed for work each day.

Martin Schauder worked out it took him 15 minutes to don his riot police uniform and the same again to remove it. Having located a calculator, Schauder reasoned it amounted to an extra 45 hours of unpaid overtime per year.

Though his bosses argued that putting on the required uniform was part of the job, Schauder took his case to the administrative court in Muenster and won. Legal expert Joachim Wulfmeyer said: "We could, in theory, have judges arguing for extra time off because of the amount of time it takes them to robe up, or receptionists claiming overtime for lipstick application as they have to look good for clients."

I may be missing something but doesn't everyone get dressed for work?

Some people decided to take the other option...
