Sounds Like A Load Of Hot Air To Me
A man building a home in upstate New York said a balloon bearing a message asking for prayers for an ill boy apparently traveled all the way from Pittsburgh.
Chris Kormanyos said the balloon, which landed in the driveway of the Messina home Saturday afternoon, was discovered by Zach, the 15-year-old son of a worker, and bore a message about another boy with the same name. "We love Zach, we want your prayers to bring him a new heart. Please send a prayer to Zach in Pittsburgh. Pass it on," reads the note attached to the balloon, which apparently traveled about 519 miles.
Kormanyos said he and his family have been unable to find more information about the Pittsburgh boy, but they prayed for him during a recent mass at New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral. "If they're looking for prayers for their son, there are a lot of prayers they can get in the Pittsburgh area without sending balloons so far," he said. "I hope their wishes come true and I hope other people, more people than just us, were balloon recipients and said a prayer for that boy."
I can't help but think that sending out organ donor registration cards would get better results!

I have a new idea for a record breaking attempt...
