Goodnight, Sleep Tight, Don't Let The Bed Bugs Bite
A New York state pest control specialist says his dog, Trace, detects bedbugs with 95 percent accuracy, far more effective than human detection.
Seth Tokson, owner of Top Dog Scent Detection, said Trace, a mixed-breed dog, has received training from the Florida Canine Academy and detects bedbug infestations in specific rooms with 95 percent accuracy.
"It saves people money and time not having to treat the whole house," Tokson said. Bill Ayers of Garrie Pest Control in Peekskill, N.Y., also uses dogs in the detection of bedbugs.
"A visual inspection is only 50 percent successful. But when we use a dog, the accuracy is close to 96 percent," Ayers said. "And we have successfully treated everything from a mansion on the Long Island Sound to Section 8 apartments."
My guess is that if you've got bed bugs you know it!

I've found a big one!
