$25,000 In Unmarked Bills... Do You Think We'll Ever Find The Owner?
Police in Ohio said they were trying to find the owner of a stash of cash, reported to be in the five figures, found scattered on a road.
Officer Rita Mendel of the Delaware city police said a motorist called authorities about 11 a.m. Monday and reported money scattered in the median of Route 23.
The department said officers spent about a half hour rounding up the cash, which officers said amounted to tens of thousands, although they did not specify the full total. Officers said they were hoping the owner of the money would come forward.
