Famous names including Madonna, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Oasis are all expected to perform at Live Earth on July 7. Baby Spice Emma Bunton will not be able to participate due to her pregnancy, but organisers hope that the other four girls will agree to take part.
This comes on top of the bowel quakingly bad news that Girls Aloud plan to cover some of the Spice Girls' greatest hits when they go on tour later this year.
The singers are currently working on the set list for the tour before rehearsals start in April, and the girls are keen to pay tribute to their pop predecessors.
So, what fresh hell is this? A talentless group of no-hopers pay homage to some has beens and then, just when you thought it was safe, the has beens stage a come back.
These might come in useful. Alternatively I'm thinking of repacking cocktail sticks and selling them as DIY ear drum bursters.
