Now we know that there are about 80 viewers a day but there's only ever 8-10 votes in the poll. Now there might be people out there who read it and smile quietly but don't vote, well this one's for you.
If you want the poll to stay please vote. Otherwise it's not going to be here all the time, only when I can think of one without too much effort.

Philip Isaac, the Archdeacon of Trinidad and Tobago, said of John: "His visit to the island can open the country to be tempted towards pursuing his lifestyle."
However, the festival's organiser Anthony Maharaj insisted that Tobago should be "honoured" to welcome the singer, as he is a "man who was knighted by the Queen (and) was highly complimented by Desmond Tutu.”
Why does the phrase 'let those without sin cast the first stone' keeping ringing around my head?
Do they think homosexuality is contagious? Over the years I've met, worked with, and socialised with a number of gay men and unfortunately still have no sense of style, cutting wit, or dress sense. If I were you Elton, I'd cancel and let the Archdeacon entertain the crowd for a couple of hours.
Also, are they serious? Have they no eyes? While Elton is an accomplished composer and talented performer he ain't no looker. Now if John Barrowman were to ask...
Anyway, I digress, give us your thoughts below.

Ali together now...any old Iron, any old iron, any any any old iron...
OK, so I went off on one there for a while, but you are right.

Is that the church's opinion...what I mean is isn't the point of the article the fact that the church are homophobic, intolerant, bastards?
garethwi (18-03-2007 18:13:52)
OK, perhaps corporations was the wrong term. How about 'Greedy bastards who sold their last ounce of creativity for more time in the spotlight'?
Long John Sliver (18-03-2007 17:06:02)
...and there's no point in moaning about it either. Smash the corporations! Don't buy CDs download them off the net illegally. Only joking kids;-)
garethwi (18-03-2007 16:25:16)
Just because someting has always been a particular way doesn't make it right.
revrobuk (18-03-2007 14:50:06)
Be realistic, music has always been part of a corporation, at least since it stopped being funded by patronage as Mozart, Beethoven, etc. were.
garethwi (18-03-2007 14:43:38)
Why not? It's pathetic. It's no wonder that music is so boring these days. It's turned into some sort of corporation.
revrobuk (18-03-2007 12:31:04)
Don't start on that again!
garethwi (18-03-2007 12:09:15)
I'd ban Elton John for being about 20 years past his sell by date.

Once again the church shows us the true meaning of christian tolerance and compassion.
