Well, Have Seen The Price Of The Tickets?

A Suffolk man had a lucky escape after he leapt on to the back of a train and clung on for six minutes before he fell off.

Will Shropshire, 24, even took a mobile phone call from friends inside the carriage as the train reached up to 50mph.

He escaped with bruises to his leg but faces prosecution for his white-knuckle ride from Marks Tey to Chappel and Wakes Colne in Essex.

Mr Shropshire, of Long Melford, said he leapt on as the train pulled out the station after he visited station toilets.

A spokesman for British Transport police said: "It was a very silly thing to do."

Sometimes there's not much to say...pillock, sums it up really.

Mind the gap.

No, they just have a third class service.

garethwi (07-06-2007 21:45:51)

Well, they don't do third class tickets any more.

I doesn't say whether or not he had a ticket...

What would he be prosecuted for? they ride trains like that all the time in India.
