I Emptied My Sack All Over Him

A postman attacked two men mugging a woman - only to find they were actors filming a scene for Casualty.

Neil Filer, 40, was on his round in Bristol when he saw two large men pinning a terrified woman to a wall. He walloped one of the 'muggers' with his heavy mailbag while trying to free the 'victim'.

But just as he was about to call for help several camera crew jumped out to reveal the 'attack' was actually a scene from the BBC1 drama.Neil said: "I whacked one of the men on the back of the head then someone shouted, 'What are you doing? We're filming for Casualty'. All the actors started laughing and after I got over the shock I did too."

I think the Post Office are to be congratulated on their equal opportunities policy. I mean a blind postman is a first on me. Well he must have been blind not to see the lights, boom mike, ,director, electricians, riggers, etc. Mustn't he?

Drop us a line below.

The director thought they'd be safe on this shoot.

The original was here.

God I hope not! The death and injury rates in that city are horrendous!

At least it shows that Casualty is realistic.
